Since MK Engineering Company joined KazService, under its chairmanship the Committee for cooperation with South-East Asia countries was established, which assumes establishing and developing of relations with companies of this region. Taking into account a growing interest to Kazakhstan from South-East Asia countries, the Committee will consider issues on attraction of new partners and innovations from this region, creation of joint ventures and experience exchange.

Representatives of the Association took part in a major environmental forum. More than 100 environmental NGOs, representative offices of the UN and international organizations in Kazakhstan, embassies and consulates, research institutes and universities, enterprises and multinational companies attended the Forum.

Executives of the Association established committees to work with the service companies (Committee on Asia, and Committee on Occupational Safety and Health).  

Representatives of the Association participated in the 12th North Caspian Regional Atyrau Oil & Gas Exhibition as well as the 7th Atyrau Regional Petroleum Technology Conference OilTech Atyrau 2013. During 10 years of its history, the event has become a traditional meeting place for experts of the oil and gas industry not only from the Caspian region and Kazakhstan, but also from the global oil-and-gas community as well. Atyrau Oil & Gas Exhibition turned into the main business platform for industry professionals of the region. OilTech Atyrau Conference highlighted a rapid advance in economic development of the western Kazakhstan, mainly due to the oil and gas industry. Due to the Kashagan oilfield commissioned this year, Kazakhstan is close to double its oil output.

Representatives of the Association of Service Companies of Kazakhstan ALE took part in the IV Forum and Exhibition on ‘Creating the Kazakhstani’. Organizer of the event was the Kazakhmys group of companies. Representatives of international and domestic manufacturers, governmental agencies, governmental and non-governmental development institutions, as well as large manufacturing companies attended the Forum, organized by the Kazakhmys Group. 

The Second “Kazneftegazservice-2013” conference was held. KazService organized this event jointly with Kazakh Contract Agency under the official aegis of the Ministry of oil and gas of the Republic of Kazakhstan.  

The Association of Service Companies of Kazakhstan became a member of the Atameken National Economic Chamber of Kazakhstan. Atameken NEC consolidates more than 200 sectorial, regional and all-republican business Associations, small, medium and large enterprises.  

The representatives of the Kazakhstan drilling companies held a meeting, at which they discussed establishment of the Committee of Drilling Companies and promotion of the Kazakh companies as regards to improvement of general situation and pursuit of interests of the domestic drilling companies. 

The meeting of regional representatives of the Association took place to discuss a number of initiatives and problems existing in the regions. Organizational issues regarding the “Kazneftegazservice-2013” conference to be held on 14 February 2013 were discussed as well.
