The Kazakhstan delegation of oilfield services companies visited the head office of the largest construction holding ENKA in Istanbul.
Recall that these days a group of companies from the oil and gas industry, headed by Chairman of the Presidium of the Union of Oil Service Companies of Kazakhstan Kazservice Rashid Zhaksylykov, are in the Republic of Turkey in order to strengthen and discuss the prospects for further cooperation with partners.
Turkish holding ENKA is an international company providing services in the field of engineering design and construction. The annual turnover of the Enka holding amounts to more than 5 billion US dollars. ENKA has been present in Kazakhstan since 1998, the company has been developing the Kashagan oil field, the largest oil field discovered in the country over the past 30 years. Also present at the Tengiz project, in 2000 ENKA won the tender together with the largest American construction company Bechtel. In 2000, they founded the Senimdi Kurylys joint venture and are implementing a contract for the installation of mechanical, electrical and instrumentation in Kazakhstan's Tengiz.
Currently, ENKA-Bechtel is implementing a 3GP project. A project for the future expansion of the Tengiz field in the amount of more than 900 million US dollars.
Yerlan Keneskhanov, an representative of the Ministry of Energy for local content, informed the meeting participants about the latest development trends in Kazakhstan and expressed interest in establishing cooperation between Kazakhstani companies on ENKA international projects.
