This year the annual conference which has united more than 350 participants became a significant event in the oil service industry of Kazakhstan. It shows the growing interest in future and current projects of the main operators as well as significant improvement of the format of the conference that helps to make an effective dialogue between all the participants. The event was organized on March16, 2018 year in Renaissance hotel of Atyrau city with assistance of the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the National chamber of entrepreneurs of the Republic of Kazakhstan "Atameken" and PSA Authority. Concerning numerous responses and wishes of KAZSERVICE members, the theme of the conference has been devoted to oil and gas construction and engineering. As for the previous years the participants’ view was focused on big projects of oil and gas fields of Kazakhstan.
Today it's planning to realize the capital projects of which budget reached 45 billion US dollars, that is why, procurement of the operators was updated, having demanded to itself special attention for the development of local business opportunities. Such foreign investments give the chance to the local companies to develop the competence within the created joint ventures and consortia. According to government's conditions, the subsoil user reproduces a transfer of knowledge, technologies and foreign experience with the purpose to provide the domestic market with world heritage. Increase of local content by participation of the Kazakhstan companies in large oil and gas contracts is an important component of bilateral interaction. Today three top operators as TCO, KPO and NCOC provide 75% of all procurements of oil service of Kazakhstan. In 2017 total amount of their procurements was about 3 trillion 398 billion tenge. As analysts consider, this indicator will increase in future. Besides, in 2018 the start of an active phase of implementation of the Future growth project of TCO could give new opportunities for subcontract organizations. On a threshold of such opportunities the main task of all participating players is the correct order of all resources.
In Conference there were key participants as Makhambet Dosmukhambetov, the First vice-Minister of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan, management of three operators TCO, KPO and NCOC, Berik Ospanov, the Deputy of Mazhilis of the Parliament of RK, and, Yeldos Ramazanov, the Board member of «Atameken». Also the welcoming speech was made by Luca Vignati, the Vice-president of «Eni» for the countries of Central Asia, and, Olivier Lazare, the Chairman of «Shell» in Kazakhstan. During the conference reports and the presentations of operators and large contractors of FGP TCO have been submitted. At the panel section, moderated by Rashid Zhaxylykov, Chairman of the Association Presidium, welcoming speech was delivered by Almas Kudaibergen, Member of the Association Presidium. The panel section of the conference has come to the end with awards ceremony of a number of employees of the domestic oil service industry.
During the Conference it has transpired that within further advance of domestic oil service business, «Atameken» has got to work on implementation of the road map of local oil service development. According to the performance of Yeldos Ramazanov, chosen equipment and materials in the project will depend on the developed design decisions. Thus, in this direction there is a high potential for domestic economy. It is necessary to increase quality of oil services of Kazakhstan, developing competitiveness of the domestic companies.
As a result, it is possible to consider that this conference became a source of useful and detailed information on projects of expansion of the leading operators and let participants to establish business communication.
