Association of oil service companies of Kazakhstan “KazService” together with the largest Italian oil and gas company Eni held the ”Kazakh-Italian Business Forum: ”Bilateral Cooperation in the Oil and Gas Industry” in Nur-Sultan.
The event was held as part of Kazakhstan Energy Week 2019 and gathered more than 150 participants.
The forum was attended by the Italian Ambassador to Kazakhstan - Pasquale D'Avino, General Director of KAZENERGY Association - Bolat Akchulakov, Executive Vice-President of Eni - Luca Vignati, Executive Secretary of Atameken Chamber- Kuanysh Baltabaev, Representative of the Italian Contractors Association Assomineraria - Luciano Vazquez, Director of the Foreign investors council - Zhanna Baidasheva, as well as the Official representative of Atameken chamer for cooperation with large oil and gas operators - Asylbek Dzhakiev.
During the forum, agreements were signed on the creation of a joint venture between the Italian company KIOS and Kazakh holding Centrasia Group, as well as between the Italian engineering company DG Impianti Industriali and the large Kazakhstani oil and gas construction contractor Ariadna LLP.
A number of Italian companies that successfully operate in Kazakhstan made presentations of their development history in Kazakhstan. In order to establish a dialogue, B2B meetings were organized between the delegation from Italy and Kazakh companies.
At the end of the evening, a cocktail reception was organized, during which the participants had the opportunity to socialize in an informal atmosphere.
