The Association of service companies in Kazakhstan took part at the XI Transborder Forum "Technology in the hydrocarbon industry" with the participation of the Presidents of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Russian Federation on September 29-30, 2014. This forum was held in Atyrau and became the final forum after a series of regional forums, which were conducted in Kazakhstan. Before the final forum the following regional forums were held: the Forum "Actual problems of oil production and ways of solving them" (February 26, 2014, Aktau); the Forum of services and engineering in oil and gas sector «KazServex - 2014" (April 24, 2014, Uralsk); the Forum "The development prospects of the gas industry of the Republic of Kazakhstan" (June 19, 2014, Kyzylorda). The leaders and representatives of Kazakh and Russian oil and oil service companies, the heads of branch offices and regions were attended at the forum.

Within the Transborder forum the General Director of the Association D.Augambay acted as a moderator of foresight session "Young oilmen - becoming professionals" which took place in the structure of «Leadership and Innovation» KAZENEGY Youth Forum. The session covered the issues related to the involvement of youth organizations in the energy sector, with the tools of exchange experience and cooperation in oil and gas industry between experts and university graduates, as well as issues of young professional’s adaptation in the company and its development. As the result of the forum the memorandum "On cooperation and understanding among youth organizations in the petroleum and energy industries" was signed.
