The participants of the event were local oil sector professionals and representatives of large oil-producing companies, members of the Presidium, and many others. FIRCROFT became the general partner of the Rating. Bruno Jardin, Managing Director of NCOC, and Rob Van Zwieteren, Purchasing Director of NCOC, were among the guests. Anuar Zhaksybekov, Chairman of the Board of Embamunaygas, one of the largest Kazakh oil-producing companies, gave an appreciation speech.
During the event Rashid Zhaksylykov, Chairman of the Presidium, awarded the employees of the oil sector with medals, orders, and diplomas on behalf of the Association of the Service Companies of Kazakhstan:
- Askhat Mubinovich Duisaliyev, President of KazPetroDrilling holding, was awarded with a medal for his contribution to the oil business of Kazakhstan. He is the head of KazPetroDrilling, the largest drilling holding in Kazakhstan, which performs approximately 25% of the drilling operations in Kazakhstan.
- Rob Van Zwieteren, Senior Leader with Contracting and Procurement of NCOC, received a deserved medal for active work. This company is a large operator of the North Caspian project that supports the development of the local content by means of improvement of the suppliers’ qualifications and provision of training to the Kazakh employees.
- Serbolat Shorayev, General Director of Logic Services company, was awarded with an order for high professionalism. Nowadays Logic Services has become the first Kazakh company that commenced its operation as a subcontractor performing construction of an LNG plant under the Yamal LNG Project (Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug, Russia) with over 300 Kazakh employees.
- Nurlan Nursultan, General director of Caspy Engineering, was awarded with an order for personal contribution to development of the national oilfield service industry. Caspy Engineering participates in the state program of graduate employment and significantly contributes to improvement of their qualification and training for acquisition of new competences.
- Zhasaral Imandosov, Business Development Director of CCC, was warded with a diploma for active position in development of the oil industry in Kazakhstan.
- Ritesh Parakkal, General Director of Isker Consortium, was awarded with a diploma for professionalism. This Kazakh group provides a wide range of construction and engineering products and services. Promoting complex solutions in the field of transportation, logistics, and port operations in the oil and gas sector, Isker holds a leading position in the market of Kazakhstan.
- Alan Kaitukov, Head of Ariadna, which is a large Kazakh contractor, was awarded with a diploma. The company is one of the largest contractors of Tengizchevroil. For over 20 years the enterprise has been successfully working in the sphere of construction of oil and gas facilities at the Tengiz Field.
In conclusion it shall be noted that the rating of the most influential people in the oil and gas sector has no equivalents in our country. It is an attempt of the experts to assess the merited professionals of the oil sector that have been creating the newest history of the oil industry in Kazakhstan.
